“About two weekends back, we all went out to the see what was going on with the Met Bike Trail. This was the first time I had ridden a bike in about 10 years, initially it was grueling, but after 45 minutes, and some help from the group, I had the hang of it. My first observation is that the trail is going to be quite nice, and will add much needed upgrades to our area of the planet, and once everything is installed and working, it will enhance our area. Further, the much advertised bike station at Union station is state-of-art. It really is user-friendly for novices like me. The rentals are quite reasonable and they offer parking, maintenance, and some retail. I feel compelled to ride more now, at least to Union Station. Besides, because of all the construction going on, maybe biking will be the preferred way to travel.”
